2006 wurde das IFAA offiziell in die Liste der EU-Forschungsdienstleister des Joint Research Centre in Sevilla in folgenden Forschungsfeldern aufgenommen.

- Cost-benefit analysis

Diese Akkreditierung erlaubt es, Europäischen Institutionen, Behörden und Verwaltungen in Brüssel und in den einzelnen Mitgliedstaaten ohne weitere Vorabklärungen das IFAA mit externen Evaluationen oder Forschungsprojekten offline und online direkt zu beauftragen.
